Overview
London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (LBRuT) invites Hampton Hill residents, businesses and community groups to help update the Village Plan. The current Village Plan was created in 2011 following the All in One survey of 2010 and can be found here: http://www.richmond.gov.uk/hampton_hill_area_village_plan
The plan is made up of your local vision for how the area will develop in the future. It includes key issues, priorities and opportunities in your area, identifying ways to get involved and useful information on how to get things done with the Council.
The Village Plan for Hampton Hill will include a Supplementary Planning Document (SPD). This is a formal planning policy document which will need to be taken into account when making decisions on planning applications. It will impact on planning and development as well as identify the areas that need to be maintained and enhanced in your area’s character[1] and conservation areas.
By filling out this questionnaire you can help to shape new Guidance for Hampton Hill as well as update your existing Village Plan so as to:
- Make Hampton Hill a desirable place to live in
- Strengthen opportunities to get involved in the local community
- Reduce isolation and loneliness
This is the first stage of consultation. Your feedback will be published in Autumn 2016 on the website listed above.
The second stage of consultation will focus solely on the Supplementary Planning Document for Hampton Hill and will take place during late Summer - Autumn 2016 before it is adopted in early 2017.
