Overview
Richmond Council is keen to enhance the play experience at Mortlake Green by installing a number of new play items. We propose to:
- Install a new play train and platform
- Install a motorbike and side car spring rocker
- Install two activity panels
- Install a variety of games and activity markings onto the tarmac surface of the playground including hopscotch board, alphabet grid, compass point and clock with numerals
Please see the poster below for pictures of the proposed equipment.
The aim of this consultation is to inform playground users and the wider public about our proposals, to establish whether the proposals are supported and to gather feedback. There are no plans to expand the play area or install play equipment within the park itself, only with the existing play area footprint.
As part of the upgrade, all existing play equipment will be refurbished as required and a review of the provision of bins and seating will also be undertaken.
We are keen to hear your views - please complete the online survey below.
