Overview
During an initial round of consultation in February to March 2018, we asked for your views on a range of different types of equipment for Chivalry Road Playground. We would now like to hear your views to help decide on the final design for the refurbished playground.
Based on the results of the first round of consultation, three designs have been developed. You can find out more about the designs below:
As Chivalry Road Playground is on Common Land, we have strict guidelines regarding what can be done, which has also informed the three designs.
The style and height of any new equipment has to be sympathetic to the area and it will have to be appropriate for the age range of intended use. For Chivalry Road Playground the intended age range is for children aged 2 to 16 years.
What happens next?
Once this consultation has closed, all of the feedback will be carefully considered to decide on the final design. The final design will then be submitted for planning approval.
Whilst every attempt will be made to construct the final design to plan, certain elements may have to be altered during the implementation stage due to unforeseen technical or logistical issues.
