Chivalry Road Playground

Closed 11 Mar 2018

Opened 12 Feb 2018

Enable Parks Team on behalf of Wandsworth Council wants to understand the views of the local residents and people that use Chivalry Road Playground, concerning the planned refurbishment and improvement works.

As Chivalry Road Playground is on Common Land, we have strict guidelines regarding what can be done.

The style and height of the new equipment will have to be sympathetic to the area and it will have to be appropriate for the age range of the intended uses. For Chivalry Road Playground the intended age range is for children and young people under 16 years old.

The final design will also have to be sent to the planning department for approval.

This survey provides you with the opportunity to have your say on different aspects of the playground as well as the chance to identify the different stylings and options that you like or dislike.

Attached at the bottom of this page is a short presentation about Chivalry Road Playground as well as links to two other playground consultations that are also being undertaken in the local area.

There are also three planned playground consultation events that will be taking place in the local area. If you are interested in attending the details are listed at the bottom of the page.

You can access the online survey below, but if you would like a paper copy, please contact us at

Please be advised that this consultation closes on Sunday 11th March 2018.

What Happens Next?

We will look at all the feedback and the top choices that have been selected by you. We will pass this information onto the Wandsworth Council Design Services Team and they will design two possible plans for the new playground.
The two plans will then be posted on the Wandsworth Council website and you will be able to make your final choice on which design is your favourite. The design that get the most selections will be the playground that will be built.
