Wandsworth Quietway Consultation 2017

Closed 13 Nov 2017

Opened 2 Oct 2017

Results updated 31 Jan 2018

Thank you to all those who responded to the consultation.

All comments and concerns raised during the consultation are being taken into account as the Council considers which elements of the designs for the Quietway route should be retained, amended or not progressed. The results will be considered by the Council’s Overview and Scrutiny Committee and the final decision and results will appear on this page when available.

Overview

Quietways are a proposed network of high-quality, well-signed cycle routes throughout London, mostly using less-trafficked streets. They are aimed at new and less-confident cyclists, and those who would prefer to cycle on quieter routes at a gentler pace.

In many places, Quietways will only require route signs and limited road markings, but some sections of route require further measures to improve the safety of cyclists using the routes.

One of the proposed Quietways would link the Wandsworth Common area with Teddington, via Richmond Park. It is on this proposed route that we would like your views.

A map highlighting this route is illustrated below; but you can also download or view a copy of the map in the related documents section at the bottom of the page.

You can access the online survey below, but if you would like a paper copy, please contact us at consult@wandsworth.gov.uk

If you would like to discuss the proposals with a Council Officer, six drop-in events have been planned and are listed below.

Following the consultation all feedback will be taken into account and councillors will decide on the next steps in the first half of 2018.

Please be advised that this consultation closes on Monday 13 November 2017.
