The consultation responses have been fed into the design process and the planned improvements include new road crossings, improved cycling routes, new road and pavement surfaces and the creation of a new community space, near to the main junction. It is hoped that the works will start by the end of 2015

Overview

The Council has identified Hampton Hill High Street to be included within the Council’s Uplift Programme – a programme aimed at rejuvenating areas within the borough. Whilst the Council has allocated capital funds to support the delivery of the Uplift Programme, the Council has also obtained funding from the New Homes Bonus (NHB) scheme in connection with the Greater London Authority (GLA) to make improvements to Hampton Hill High Street. 

We would like to understand how you feel Hampton Hill High Street would best benefit from this funding; what issues and concerns you may have, the elements you feel work well about the High Street as well as the areas which would benefit from improvement.

Please give us your views via the online survey below. If you would like a paper copy these are available at all libraries in the borough or contact us using the contact details listed at the top right of this page.

The feedback from this consultation will be used to inform the design process to allocate the funding. Further public consultation will then be carried out as proposals progress to the design stage.
