Overview

As part of the Council’s continued commitment to improve our parks and open spaces, the Council are proposing to introduce a new all abilities outdoor gym that will have a range of equipment. The proposed area for the gym is marked in the yellow box below. 

The equipment will include a mixture of static and moving items including a phone charging spin bike. These items have not yet been finalised, so we encourage feedback from respondents on their preferred equipment.

What happens next?

All responses will be carefully considered before a decision is made on whether to go ahead with the installation of the outdoor gym. Should there be public support the project go ahead will be subject to funding availability.
