Patient participation awareness survey
Overview
NHS Richmond Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is calling for local people who want to give patients a stronger voice and support their local GP practice to provide the best possible service. Richmond CCG is launching the campaign to coincide with patient participation awareness week which runs from 6 – 11 June and is organised by the National Association for Patient Participation (NAPP).
A patient participation group (PPG) is a made of patients from the same GP practice who work together with practice staff and GPs to continuously improve the services and facilities offered by their GP practice.
Richmond CCG wants to find out how aware Richmond residents are of PPGs; what is good or could be improved about local PPGs and what would make residents join their local PPG.
You can help us answer these questions by completing the short online survey before the closing date of 30 June 2016. You can also request a paper copy by calling 020 8734 3037 or email ccginvolve@richmond.gov.uk
Your feedback will be used to help Richmond CCG and the Richmond General Practice Alliance (RGPA), a partnership of all GP practices in the borough, to support and develop PPGs in local practices.
If you are interested in finding out more about PPGs why not come along to our patient participation group information event on 9 June from 18:00 to 21:00 in York House, Twickenham. To find out more and to book a place email ccginvolve@richmond.gov.uk
