Overview

The Wandsworth Walking and Cycling Strategy is dedicated to the creation of a new network of signed quiet cycle routes, aligning with the Council's transport and climate change objectives.

The plan involves establishing 'quiet' cycle routes across the borough to link communities, businesses and destinations with clear wayfinding signs. These routes will primarily use side streets and parks to avoid busy roads.

The objective is to provide safer, more accessible and less congested cycling options, making Wandsworth more attractive for cycling, especially for those less confident or comfortable cycling in urban areas.
