Overview
Tooting Common Lakeside Playground
Wandsworth Council plan to spend £384,000 on refurbishing Tooting Common Lakeside Playground and we want to hear from you!
The Plan
The project will see us design a new, bigger playground for children age 0-12. It will provide accessible equipment and opportunities to develop fine motor skills, as well as encouraging active lifestyles. There will also be the opportunity for child-led nature play and learning.
All new equipment, safety surfaces and infrastructure will consider sustainability and community ambitions for long-lasting landscapes that are future proofed against the impacts of climate change.

What happens next
Once this phase of consultation has concluded, all feedback will be carefully considered to inform potential designs for the refurbishment. We will then run a second round of consultation, which will ask the public to help us select a final design.
Whilst every attempt will be made to construct the final design to plan, certain elements may have to be altered during the implementation stage due to unforeseen technical or logistical issues.
