Overview
Wandsworth Council wants your help to decide on the final design for the refurbishment of Coronation Gardens play area. £143,000 has been granted for improvements to this play area, with a further £30,000 given towards biodiversity improvements in and around the space.
The first round of consultation held between August to September 2022 helped us to understand what local residents think of the current playground, if and how they currently use this facility and how they think it could be improved. Based on the feedback we received, three potential playground designs have been developed. This second stage of consultation asks you to comment on and rank the three different designs. Your feedback will help us choose between the different designs, so that we can create a playground that best serves your communities.
What happens next
Once this phase of consultation has concluded, all of the feedback will be carefully considered to decide on the final design for a refurbished playground. Whilst every attempt will be made to construct the final design exactly to plan, certain elements may have to be altered during the implementation stage due to unforeseen technical or logistical issues.
In case you are not able to visit the playground during the consultation period, photos of the existing playground are included as part of the online consultation to aid with your decisions.
