VCS Space - Wandsworth Town Hall

Closed 13 Jun 2024

Opened 15 May 2024

Overview

Following recent feedback from the sector and as part of the Council’s commitment to partnering and supporting local Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) organisations, the Council has identified 1,700sqft of ground floor space, to be used as a VCS Hub.

This space will be in a town centre location, where local VCS organisations can connect, collaborate and network. More information can be found here.

This is a new concept for the council as it seeks to open up the town hall space to other users. We are engaging with the VCS at an early stage to understand what their workspace needs are and how the council might operate the space, including booking solutions and what costs might be appropriate to ensure it is sustainable.

The Council wishes to engage with the local voluntary and community sector organisations, to hear their views and to explore piloting the provision of a VCS Hub at Wandsworth Town Hall.

Have your say

To understand further how the new space could be most useful for local organisations and to gain insight into how other co-working spaces have worked, this survey has been created for organisations to give their views.

Please give us your feedback by clicking the Online Survey link below. If you have questions about this work, or require a paper copy of this consultation, please email voluntarysectorteam@wandsworth.gov.uk.

What happens next

There will be a small in-person focus group held on Friday 24th May to discuss ideas on the new space with Council Officers. If interested please sign up here
