Wandsworth Air Quality Action Plan 2021-2025
Overview
As part of the process for implementing this plan we are holding a 12 week consultation to seek the views of our partners and other public organisations.
We particularly welcome the views of our residents, businesses and visitors to the borough. There are also key resident groups that we would like to hear from and see where we can work together to improve this plan and tackle this problem.
The Air Quality Action Plan outlines key areas of policy, the need for an action plan, the levels and sources of pollution in the borough and more importantly proposes a number of measures we can take as an authority to tackle poor air quality.
These measures are set out into a number of themes including:
- Monitoring air pollution
- Protecting our vulnerable
- Awareness and messaging
- Our environment
- Transport
- Leading by example
- Working together
- Tackling pollution
- Our project work
- Opposing the expansion of Heathrow
- Planning and development
Please read the draft Air Quality Action Plan here or below before completing the survey.
You can access the online survey below, but if you would like a paper copy or another format please contact consult@wandsworth.gov.uk or call 020 8871 6000.
Following the consultation, all feedback will be taken into account by the Deputy Leader of the Council and Cabinet Member (Finance, Resources and Climate Sustainability).
