Consultation on joint commissioning of services for children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
Overview
Wandsworth Council and the South West London NHS Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) are keen to hear from parents and carers about care and support services for children and young people with SEND. This is so we can jointly plan any changes needed to ensure that children and young people’s needs are being met. We have identified the following priority areas for improved joint working:
- Speech and language therapy (SALT)
- Occupational Therapy (OT)
- Nursing and personal care
- Mental health and emotional wellbeing
Thank you to those who gave us their views when we had Phase 1 of our joint commissioning consultation in 2021. We now have some more questions to ask that will give us a better understanding of how services in our priority areas are being provided and accessed.
We would welcome feedback on your / your child’s experience of using services in these areas and your level of satisfaction with them.
