Overview

“Richmond and Wandsworth Councils have been awarded funding by the Local Government Agency (LGA) to explore how digital technology can be used in Adult Social Care. In Richmond and Wandsworth, we are examining how digital technology can be used to help unpaid carers. Our project aims to tackle three priorities:

Priority One – Improving the identification of carers and their needs

Priority Two – Enhancing economic wellbeing through employment, education and training opportunities

Priority Three – Creating carer friendly services and communities

This funding forms part of the Social Care Digital Innovation Programme which is split into two sections. We are currently in the first of these, the Discovery Phase, during which we are conducting research on how digital technology can help carers and building a prototype to test with users.

This questionnaire forms part of that research. Your answers will help inform the design of our digital tool and ensure that we build something that assists with the challenges that unpaid carers face in Richmond and Wandsworth Boroughs.

As we begin to build our prototype we will be seeking unpaid carers to take part in the testing phase of our design process. There is space within this questionnaire for you to register your interest should you wish to be part of this project.”
