Thank you to those who took part in this consultation.
You can read about the results and decisions here.
Overview
In May 2022, the Council implemented the South-West Twickenham Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ), Zone CR, operating 10am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday - see the map of the zone.
Since its implementation, the Council has received some feedback from residents and businesses concerning this zone’s operation.
We are now carrying out a consultation with all properties in the CPZ on how the scheme has worked. This includes seeking views on whether the CPZ’s operational hours/days are about right or need to be changed. The current operational hours/days for the CPZ (10am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday) are in Tier-2 as shown in the table below. The table indicates new permit costs and how these could alter if the CPZ operational hours/days were changed.
As we review this zone, we are also consulting roads in the nearby Leeson and Fulwell Park Estates on whether they wish to have a CPZ introduced. This is also shown on the map attached. Please click here for more information.
Should a CPZ be introduced, residents, their visitors and businesses wishing to park on street during the operational period of the CPZ will be required to purchase / display a valid parking permit. You would not be able to purchase a permit if you live in a property subject to a S106 Planning Agreement which restricts or prohibits the issue of permits.

Resident and business permits
The above resident permit prices are for the first permit issued per household per year. Based on the first permit price, subsequent permits purchased each year are approximately 100% more for the second permit and 200% more again for the third permit.
The prices for subsequent business permits purchased per business each year are under review. Current prices can be viewed on our website, details of which are provided at the end of this page.
Resident visitor permits
Resident visitor permits (scratch cards) are available at half the standard price to the over 60s. These permits must be validated for the relevant time period. . These permits must be validated for the relevant time period and each one allows parking in Zone CR for half a day’s parking so two permits are required to allow all day parking.
Please note: all parking charges are reviewed annually. Full details of current permit charges are available here.

Further information
The Council would like to demonstrate that any changes to a CPZ have the support of residents so a good response is very important, although the Council will not base its decision on residents’ wishes alone. All feedback to this consultation will be considered by the Council along with all relevant traffic management and other highway factors, prior to a decision being made on the way forward.
