Zone WC Extension CPZ Consultation

Overview

Why are we carrying out this consultation?

We are seeking feedback from several roads in this area on the possibility of joining Zone WC. This consultation follows requests from residents of the area, particularly from those in Willowdene Close, to introduce parking controls, 

The CPZ was introduced in 2020 and currently operates: 

• Monday to Friday - 10am to 2pm 
• Event days - 11am to 11pm

The results of this consultation will be considered and a decision made on whether to develop proposals to extend the zone.

The Council would like to demonstrate that an extension to the CPZ has the support of residents so a good response is very important, although the Council will not base its decision on residents’ wishes alone. All feedback to this consultation will be considered by the Council along with all relevant traffic management and other highway factors, prior to a decision being made on the way forward.
