Sunnyside Road / Princes Road CPZ Consultation

Overview

* The colour coding of Sunnyside Road has been updated on the preliminary detailed design on Monday 15th July. 

September 2022, the Council implemented the Fulwell Controlled Parking Zone, following consultation with all affected properties in the area. The zone operates 8.30am to 6.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Following requests from residents of Sunnyside Road (including a petition), the decision has been made to re-consult residents of this road on the option to join Zone FW.  Due to its close proximity, we have included the adjacent section of Princes Road in this consultation, to see if residents of this road also wish to be included in the zone.

The Council would like to demonstrate that an extension to the CPZ has the support of residents so a good response is very important, although the Council will not base its decision on residents’ wishes alone. All feedback to this consultation will be considered by the Council along with all relevant traffic management and other highway factors, prior to a decision being made on the way forward.
