Play Improvements, Radnor Gardens, Twickenham

The consultation has now closed and analysis of the results shows that 84% of respondents agreed with the proposal to install a basket swing and 74% agreed that play panels should be installed. We will now begin the process of ordering the relevant play equipment and arrange for installation.

Overview
As part of our continuing programme of play provision and improvements across the borough, the Parks Department are working with the Friends of Radnor Gardens to suggest a series of improvements to the playground in Radnor Gardens, Twickenham. We are keen to improve and enhance the play experience that is currently provided in this well-used play area by installing a number of new play items in the existing play area. Images of examples are provided in the attached documents.
The proposals are to:
- Install a basket swing and grass matting
- Add play panels

The aim of this consultation is to inform playground users and the wider public about our proposals, to establish whether the proposals are supported and to gather feedback.
