Proposed St Margarets North Community Parking Zone (CPZ)
Overview
The results of a parking consultation recently undertaken in this area shows overwhelming support for a new CPZ to be introduced in Orchard Road and Netherton Road to address issues identified by local residents.– see letter in related documents below.
The Council is now proposing to implement a new CPZ in Orchard Road and Netherton Road, including the adjacent section of St Margarets Road – see map in related documents below.
Details of the proposed CPZ are:
- St Margarets North CPZ, operational Mon-Fri 10am to 4.30pm.
- Resident Parking permits cost £68 per year (3 and 6 month permits also available)
- Resident Visitor Permits cost £11 per book of ten half day permits (£5.50 for over 60s). Two half-day permits required for a full days’ parking.
For more details of how the new CPZ will work and further details on the cost of parking permits, please visit the parking permit link below.
Your views are important to us and your comments are invited either by: letter to the Highway Infrastructure Manager, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham, TW1 3BZ, email to highwaysandtransport@richmond.gov.uk or completing and submitting this response form to be received on or by Friday 22 November 2013. All comments will be considered prior to a decision being made in this matter.
If a CPZ is approved, implementation is provisionally set for February 2014 and further information will be posted to all affected properties on this and how to apply for parking permits.
The Council will review the CPZ after approximately six months of operation.
