Overview
Richmond Council would like to hear your views on a proposal to introduce a new zebra crossing on Park Road at the junction of St James’s Avenue.
You can see the proposal on a map here.
Concerns have been raised with regards limited crossing facilities on Park Road, particularly during busier times. Previously, the Council introduced a zebra crossing on Park Road at the junction of St James’s Road.
We are now proposing to introduce an additional zebra crossing at the location of the existing pedestrian refuge close to the junction of St James’s Avenue. This will provide pedestrians with greater levels of priority when crossing Park Road, creating an important safe walking link to Hampton Hill Junior School.
