School Streets: Orleans Primary School (SS16)

Overview

The Council is proposing to trial an extension of the existing School Street at Orleans Primary School and is first seeking your views.

Please note: The School Street proposals are not necessarily being considered as a single package. The Council may decide to trial a School Street on only one of the streets rather than both.

The Council is keen to hear the views of local residents, the school community and businesses. 

The consultation for this School Street is due to commence on 12 January and feedback can be submitted via the 'Online survey' link below.

The consultation closes on 8 February 2026 and the Council will review and consider both the feedback received along with monitoring traffic count data of the area and a travel to school survey undertaken by the school before making a decision whether to trial a scheme.
