Development Control for Noise Sensitive and Noise Generating Development

Overview

A Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) has been produced by the three London Boroughs of Richmond Upon Thames, Hounslow and Hillingdon in order to address common noise issues affecting all three Boroughs and assist in providing a consistent approach to development where noise is an issue.

This SPD supplements each Borough’s Local Plan by providing interpretation of national planning and noise policy in a local context along with advice on the technical requirements that the Boroughs regard as relevant to meeting those requirements.
