Overview

Over the past six months, Richmond Council and Francis Terry have been considering all the views and revising the original proposals for the Twickenham development. There have also been a number of meetings with community groups, feeding their comments into an amended concept. However, in a number of the recent meetings, it has been requested that local people would like more time and opportunity to contribute to the design development before proposals are launched.

A lot of progress has been made but this is such an important development for Twickenham, the Council feels it is better to make more time for continued engagement with the community instead of presenting revised designs.

Therefore , the next stage of the process, beginning on 19 July, will offer opportunities for an ever deeper conversation. This includes a series of workshops with residents on aspects of the planned investment in Twickenham's future on the site largely assembled by the Council since 2014.

Pop-up shop and workshops

From 19 July to 31 July, the pop-up shop on Church Street will be open for the Council to report back on progress, and for the community to see what issues the Council is taking into  consideration and to feedback via a short questionnaire or comment cards.

In addition, throughout August and first two weeks of September, there will be a series of workshops where people can come and discuss their thoughts with Council officers.

See the opening times for the pop-up shop and workshop dates / rsvp information here:  www.richmond.gov.uk/twickenham_rediscovered

Please read through the consultation material before completing the survey. The closing date for the survey has been extended until the 16 September to enable anyone attending the final workshop session on 15 September to complete the survey.

Surveys submitted throughout the consultation period will be inputted into workshop discussions.
