School Streets: Nelson Primary School (SS18)

The Council is proposing to trial a School Street at Nelson Primary School and is first seeking your views.

Please be aware that this consultation is entirely separate to the CPZ consultation you should have recently received from the Parking Policy Team.

The Council is keen to hear the views of local residents, the school community and businesses. 

The consultation for this School Street is due to commence on 12 January and feedback can be submitted via the 'Online survey' link below.

The consultation closes on 8 February 2026 and the Council will review and consider both the feedback received along with monitoring traffic count data of the area and a travel to school hands up survey undertaken by the school before making a decision whether to trial a scheme.
