Overview
As part of our ongoing commitment to improve the borough’s parks and open spaces Richmond Council is proposing to review the play ground in Murray Park.
There is a possibility of improving the space and we are keen to ensure that Murray Park playground meets local needs.
We are keen to hear the views of both children and adults who do and do not use Murray Park and invite you to take part in this survey. The information you provide will help us to:
- understand how the park is used and by whom
- understand what is important to you
- ensure it continues to meet local needs
There are a number of ways you can give us your comments:
- You can speak to the representatives from Children's Play Advisory Service who are experts helping the Council with play space development and improvement. They will be in Murray Park on Saturday 1st February 11am - Midday and will have identification. Children will have the opportunity to be consulted by being interviewed in the presence of their parents/carers
- By completing and submitting the online questionnaire
- Paper copies of the questionnaire will be delivered to houses in the area of Murray Park and will also be available from the representatives at Murray Park on 1st February 11am-Midday. If you would prefer to complete the questionnaire at home you can post it using the post paid envelopes provided.
Please submit all completed questionnaires by 23rd February when the consultation closes.
The information you provide will inform decisions about the way forward for improving this open space. Please do let us have your thoughts and thank you for taking the time to be involved. If you would like more information please contact us at parks@richmond.gov.uk
