Draft Buildings of Townscape Merit Supplementary Planning Document

Overview

The guidance, which originated in the early 1980's, has been updated to take into account subsequent changes to national and local policy context. The draft Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was subject to public consultation from 14 February to 28 March 2011.

Consultation Documents were made available on the Supplementary Planning Documents webpages and comments were invited by post or email.

What happens next

There were four responses to the consultation. Any queries or questions will be responded to and the document amended where appropriate. A schedule of all comments will be forwarded to the Cabinet Member for Environment for decision.
