Development Management DPD

Closed 1 Oct 2009

Opened 16 Jun 2009

Overview

The LDF Core Strategy was adopted in April 2009. This further stage of the consultation is about the Development Management Plan (DPD), which includes over 60 detailed policies building on the core strategy. These policies will be used as a basis for deciding on all planning applications.

We identified the issues for the Development Management DPD covering a range of topics. In a number of areas we carried out focused consultation through a series of public workshops in June and September/October 2009. Other specialist meetings also formed part of this consultation, including expert workshops and formal discussions on specific topics in autumn 2009. Whilst these were not open to the public, we made available a summary of the issues.

The workshops held during 2009 were:

  • Biodiversity, open land, the River Thames and other open uses (including sport and recreation) - 16 June 2009
  • Whitton Town Centre - 18 June 2009
