Consultation on Statement of Community Involvement (Planning Matters)

Overview

The Council would like to hear your views on the updated Statement of Community Involvement (Planning Matters), which sets out in detail how the Council will engage with the community and other stakeholders when producing planning policies and making decisions on planning applications. It has been revised to take account of current legislation, and to ensure it reflects modern plan-making processes.

What happens next

Following this consultation, the Council will analyse the responses and take them into account in updating the document. The revised SCI will be adopted by the Council, at which point it will supersede the previous version.
