Your Vision Your Mortlake

Closed 19 Dec 2014

Opened 7 Nov 2014

Overview

This consultation is part of the Village Planning exercise for Mortlake. This short video explains what Village Planning is.

London Borough of Richmond upon Thames (LBRuT) would like residents, businesses and community groups and organisations to help with improving the Mortlake Village area. This will include helping to shape:

  • How current Council policy impacts on planning and development and how best to protect and enhance your areas character and conservation areas
  • Wider aspirations for your community that contribute to its character and feel to make it a desirable place to live such as strengthening opportunities to get involved or tackling isolation of the elderly

This is the first stage of consultation when residents, businesses and community groups and organisations are being asked about their views on the character of their local area today and for the future.  A new Village Plan will be written after Christmas based on your views and a formal consultation will be carried out in early in the new year on the local planning guidance that will be produced for Mortlake before it is adopted.
