Richmond Riverside Refurbishment Consultation

Overview

The Council has secured funding from a combination of local developer contributions and from Transport for London to make improvements to Richmond Riverside.

 

It is proposed to:

· Resurface the pavement between Water Lane and Richmond Bridge with a high quality granite paving slab in various shades and sizes.

· Resurface the walkways under the bridge with a sealed gravel surfacing.

· Refurbish all existing benches, bins and railings.

· Install new ornate lighting columns in addition to an external power point for outdoor Riverside events.

· Undertake repairs to the low level walls currently suffering from tree root damage

· A replacement CCTV pole in a more ornate style.

 

If approved, construction would commence in November this year. We are keen to hear your views on these proposals and invite you to complete and submit  this questionnaire Friday 13 September when the consultation closes.
