There was an increase in the choice and flexibility of the service made available. The Council negotiated with Apetito the delivery of an unsubsidised daily hot meals service from Apetito's Hounslow depot.

A letter was sent in May 2009 with the offer of an additional service.

To consult on the choice of Meals Service. A letter was sent to all users of the service and a consultation event held in February 2009, where attendees took part in a tasting session.
