Building Control satisfaction survey 2008/09
Overview
In order for the Building Control department to improve its services we are continually reviewing the service we provide to our customers. Your feedback is very important to us and will help us to continue improving our service.
We instituted a process of customer surveys from January 2005 when a survey form was sent out with every:
(1) Completion Certificate and targeted householders/home owners, and this is a continuous service.
The other customer surveys we now carry out include:
(2) A builders survey
(3) A Street Naming and Numbering survey
(4) After Decision Notice issued - to Agents.
Results:
Satisfaction with services was high. Although satisfaction was high, there was some slippage in results to previous years.
Highlights from the results included:
- 92% of those who had works completed on site found the service to be helpful and responsive
- 100% of builders were satisfied with the helpfulness of staff and 96% were satisfied with Building Control services in terms of local knowledge
- 100% of respondents who had recently used the Street Naming and Numbering Application service were satisfied with all aspects of the
