Overview

This survey is aimed at voluntary and community sector organisations that operate within the adult care and support sector in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames.

The Department of Health has released a national consultation on the Care Act draft Regulations and Guidance. Richmond Council is currently working on its response and would like to take this opportunity to gather views from the local voluntary and community sector on a number of the areas addressed in the consultation.

This survey focuses on the following aspects of the more comprehensive Department of Health consultation:

  1. Independent Advocacy
  2. Market Shaping and Commissioning
  3. Certificates of Vision Impairments (sight registers)
  4. Preventing, reducing and Delaying needs
  5. Information and Advice

This will help us to formulate our response and assist us with the future implementation of the Care Act in Richmond. We value your comments and invite you to submit your response by 5th August 2014 when the council consultation closes.

You may also wish to submit a full response to the national consultation directly to the Department of Health. To do so, please visit http://careandsupportregs.dh.gov.uk/.
