Carers Survey 2012-13

Overview

The Health and Social Care Information Centre (HSCIC) informed all Local Authorities that they must undertake a Carers Survey in 2012-13.

Participating in the survey allowed councils to benchmark against their comparators and gather information to support their local commissioning, performance and carers strategy.

The data was also used to populate four of the outcome measures in the Adult Social Care Outcomes Framework.
