Rosecroft Gardens Conservation Area 2009

Overview

This was a consultation on Draft Conservation Area Character Appraisal and Management Plan for Rosecroft Gardens Conservation Area. The Council held a public consultation on the draft Conservation Area Character Appraisal and Management Plan for the Rosecroft Gardens Conservation Area (known locally as the Dene Estate).

The consultation document was divided into two parts:

A Conservation Area Character Appraisal, which outlines the history of the development of the conservation area and provides a detailed analysis of its distinctive character.

A Management Plan, which defines policies and proposals for the enhancement or preservation of the character of the conservation area.

These documents are important in providing a sound basis for development control decision-making, planning appeals and for developing initiatives to improve an area
