Battersea High Street Parking and Anti-Social Behaviour Survey

Closed 23 Oct 2020

Opened 25 Sep 2020

Overview

Wandsworth Council and Wandsworth Police, as strategic partners, work closely to resolve issues affecting the local community. We are seeking your views on a local issue which may be affecting your quality of life.

It has been brought to our attention that cars are being parked on the pavement on Battersea High Street and that some of the drivers of these vehicles may be acting in a manner that is causing the community to feel alarm and distress.

In order that we approach this matter with all the relevant information, and we respond appropriately to resolve any issues, we would be interested to hear from you.

Have your say

We encourage as many people as possible to respond to the survey so we can put the appropriate actions in place.

You can access the online survey below, but if you would like a paper copy or a another format, please contact us at communitysafety@richmondandwandsworth.gov.uk

What happens next?

We will be reviewing the returns from this survey to decide on a way forward. This could involve taking action under the Antisocial Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 which provides the police, local authorities and other agencies with a wide range of powers to deal with antisocial behaviour, including civil injunctions, criminal behaviour orders.

If you experience any anti-social behaviour/non-emergency crime you can report via www.met.police.uk as well as via 101 system.

As usual in an emergency or if you are immediate danger or if you are witnessing a crime always call the Police on 999.

You can report any incidents to Crimestoppers either by phone 0800 555 111 or via web site https://crimestoppers-uk.org/ which you have the option to do anonymously.
