Overview

Supported employment is where people are helped to find a job and then supported to stay in work. The Council is carrying out a review of supported employment services for people with a learning disability, autism, mental health conditions or physical disability in Richmond and Wandsworth.  As part of the review, the Council is asking people about their experiences.

This survey is for:

  • People with a support need who have accessed, or would like to access, employment
  • Employment, education, housing or support providers
  • Health and social care professionals
  • Employers or voluntary organisations supporting people with learning disability, autism, mental health conditions or physical disability
  • Carers, friends and family

We are carrying out this review now because the current contract to provide a supported employment service will end in December 2022.

People with support needs should have a fair chance of getting the right job and of remaining in work.  The information that we collect will be used to help us to achieve this for residents.
