Supported Employment Survey
Overview
Supported employment is where people are helped to find a job and then supported to stay in work. The Council is carrying out a review of supported employment services for people with a learning disability, autism, mental health conditions or physical disability in Richmond and Wandsworth. As part of the review, the Council is asking people about their experiences.
This survey is for:
- People with a support need who have accessed, or would like to access, employment
- Employment, education, housing or support providers
- Health and social care professionals
- Employers or voluntary organisations supporting people with learning disability, autism, mental health conditions or physical disability
- Carers, friends and family
We are carrying out this review now because the current contract to provide a supported employment service will end in December 2022.

What happens next?
Your answers to this survey will help us to decide what is important to have in the specification for the new contract.
People with support needs should have a fair chance of getting the right job and of remaining in work. The information that we collect will be used to help us to achieve this for residents.
