Village Planning Fund

Closes 27 Oct 2017

Opened 2 Oct 2017

Overview

The Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL) is a tax collected by Richmond upon Thames Council and paid by developers.

In Richmond, a portion of the total tax collected in an area will be spent on local priorities. This is the neighbourhood portion of CIL; the Village Planning Fund.

The Village Planning Fund was open for applications from 14 June to 14 August 2017. A total of 35 applications were received and of these 18 fully met the required criteria and are now subject to public consultation.

It is important to understand the level of support each project has within the community so that an informed final decision can be made by the Cabinet Member for Environment, Business and Community and the Cabinet Member for Planning and Strategic Development. Final decisions will take into account public support, need, community impact and deliverability.

Please show your support for individual projects by using the online survey below. If you would like a paper copy, please contact us at  consultation@richmond.gov.uk

For more information on the Village Planning Fund please visit the Village Planning Fund webpage.

Please be aware that you will be asked to enter an address based within the London borough of Richmond upon Thames when completing the consultation. You must live, work or study within the borough for your support to be counted.

Please be advised that this consultation closes on Friday 27 October 2017.
