Richmond upon Thames Inclusive Sport and Exercise 2022 - Organisations

Closed 31 Jan 2023

Opened 18 Oct 2022

We are seeking your views on Sport, Exercise and Physical Activities

The Sports Development Team developed RISE (Richmond upon Thames Inclusive Sport and Exercise) in 2008. RISE aims to highlight the wide range of inclusive and disability-specific sports available in the borough. There are a variety of regular activities and events that we run under the RISE banner and know that there are lots of other activities happening regularly across the borough.

We know that there are lots of activities that run across the borough encouraging children, young people and adults to participate in sport and exercise activities and to get active. We are trying to compile an up to date list of these activities so we can signpost people to them when they contact us and to identify gaps, ensuring when we are setting up new activities that we are not duplicating any activities that are going on locally.

We would like to thank you for your views and time taken to complete this consultation document.

The outcome of this research will be published early 2023 on the Sports Development website
